Combination tactical flashlight and red laser for weapons mounting. The new product features a 3 watt, CREE Q4, 22 lumen LED with a 650nm <5mw Class IIIA red laser in a single lightweight package. Four position switch is used to pre-select light only, laser only, laser/light combination or off. The Q4 CREE LED, mounted in a polished reflector, emits a highly concentrated beam of blinding white light. With the red laser dot standing clearly in the center of the light beam, the shooter can both illuminate the target and place their shot with confidence and accuracy. A rubber covered button switch at the rear of it activates the selected mode at the touch of the shooter's finger. Using the included mouse tail switch and sticky velco, the user can affix the MT switch touch pad to the side of the weapon for rock solid on/off control. It can be operated either with or without the mouse tail switch, but with the MT switch connected, the button switch is de-activated. The shockproof and waterproof laser light is just over 3 1/2 inches long and weighs only 5.3 oz. Ideal for hand gun mounting, the PLG-3 attaches easily to a Picatinny or Weaver rail. Using the included adjustment tool, the laser can be zeroed for both windage and elevation. Two CR-123A batteries are included to power the unit. With the batteries installed, the battery hatch is locked with the adjustment tool to prevent accidental opening due to shock or recoil. The user may expect a run time for the flashlight of 4-6 hours.
